Brief
Create a publication that will increase the sales of Dermika products. Develop an inviting platform for the firm to communicate with its customers, educating them about their product lines. Position the brand as a forward-thinking and exciting entity, which is focused on creating products of the highest quality.
Challenge
The challenge was to differentiate Woman magazine from all other womens Magazines available. To achieve this feat, we focused on the quality of the publication. Starting with the editorials and articles, we put a lot of attention into ensuring they were compelling a beautifully written. We developed elements that focused on beauty, lifestyle and design that would appeal to our target position this magazine above the rest.
Editorial Response
Woman magazine was developed by Concept Publishing and first published in 2006. The magazine focused on a selection of lifestyle, fashion, beauty and wellness articles. The magazine offers expert advice in beauty products and applications, offering product suggestions, how-tos and guides. The articles in the magazine are contributed by some of the most recognized names in beauty, fashion culture and art in Poland including Jaga Hupało, Sergiusz Osmański, Andrzej Pągowski, Krystyna Kofta i Kama Zboralska. Each issue features an interview with a star of Polish cinema. Woman is the most awarded magazine published by Concept Publishing, having won awards in many contests including Chimera and Szpalty Roku.
Results
Woman magazine has been very successful in raising awareness of the Dermika product lines. It is one of the first Magazines which has been distributed through kiosks and cafes such as EMPiK, where it has successfully sold as a stand-alone product. The magazine has also been distributed directly to VIP and used as a marketing tool in fitness clubs, beauty salons, hotels, and cafes.
