Challenge

Create a relationship with the customers through a product that is not directly tied in with the core business of Biedronka. The TV guide should give the reader a mix of interesting articles that are tied in with television and the featured programming: health and beauty, law and finance, lifestyle, entertainment, cooking, and product features that highlight the benefits of products carried by Biedronka stores. 

Editorial Response

The weekly TV guide was first published in the fall of 2006. The publication has a balance of information, entertainment and gossip columns, which has made it very popular with shoppers at Biedronka. The publication has grown to include many themed sections, including a culinary section which features recipes and interviews with leading chefs, event calendars, and book reviews. 

Results

KropkaTV is currently available in over 1500 stores in all regions of Poland. From the very first issue, the publication has been very popular and been published in very high volumes to meet demand.
